Community Support is vital to our mission

At Empowering Kids Perham, we are grateful to our community members and donors who continually support the services, including camps and scholarships that we provide to children and their families. Autism support is important for early intervention and to ensure that children grow up with the social skills and programs that can support their ever-changing and growing needs. Your contributions make our program possible, by supplying the special education tools to bring happiness and success to each child we serve.

The Internal Revenue Service recognizes Empowering Kids Perham (EKP) as a Section 501(c)(3) public charity. Gifts to  EKP are tax deductible in the U.S.A. Our Federal Tax ID # is 82-2099328. No goods or services were forwarded or offered in exchange for this contribution.

Sponsor an Event

Families that have a loved one who has autism are often financially impacted due to therapies, doctor visits, medications and travel. Empowering Kids is a non-profit organization and to keep costs affordable for families that have many additional expenses, we are seeking sponsorships to provide safe, structured and meaningful events.

As we continue to grow and evolve, there are many items that are needed along the way. Books, games, and other sensory friendly items help our students learn in many different ways. We have a number of items already, but we could use donations of new and used items to keep our kids learning and growing socially. If you would like to contribute, please check out the links below with lists of items that we already have and items that we could use.

We couldn’t do what we do without the help of generous donors, sponsors, and foundations. Here are some of the grants and gifts that we have received in the last year. Special thank you to all of these donors, as well as the ones that have donated to Empowering Kids Perham in the past!

If you’d like to make a gift, please contact Christi at We appreciate your support!
